Industry Q&A: A Conversation with Literary Agent

Brian Sherman

Join us January 11th to learn more about literary agents in the musical theatre field. Our guest expert will be Brian Sherman, an entertainment agent and executive with 25 years of experience in the field whose clients include playwrights, librettists, composers, lyricists, directors, choreographers, designers, screenwriters, and producers.

What is a literary agent and how do they work? Does a musical theatre writer need an agent? How should a musical theatre writer go about getting an agent? How should a writer and their agent work together? The conversation will include all of this and more, and end with a Q&A for YOUR additional questions.

Please note, there is a suggested donation of $5 to support this programming. If you are unable to donate, you are still welcome to attend. This series is open to all.
